Essendon is set to take on West Coast and Geelong in the 2020 Marsh AFL Community Series after the fixture for the pre-season competition was revealed on Monday.
The Bombers won’t be taking part in the first week of the three-week competition and will first return against the Eagles at their home turf at Mineral Resources Park in the Perth suburb of Lathlain on Friday, February 28.
It is sure to be a fiery encounter as Essendon looks to bounce back from its season-ending elimination final loss to West Coast.
The Dons will then hit the road again to clash with the Cats in what has become a traditional pre-season contest with an exciting return to Central Reserve in Colac on Labour Day – Monday, March 9.
The fixture for the home and away season will be released this Thursday, October 31.
