Funds raised through the 2017 Women's Luncheon will go towards the delivery of The Long Walk's cultural and educational programs in 2018.
The Long Walk is a charity inspired by Michael Long's walk to Canberra to get the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people back on the national agenda. The charity promotes and celebrates Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, whilst providing meaningful opportunities for all Australians to come together in the spirit of Reconciliation and develops and empowers our young people and communities.
Over its twelve year history, The Women’s Luncheon has developed into a meaningful celebration which draws together distinct groups to offer a unique reconciliation experience.
Join us for a wonderful afternoon of celebration, entertainment, networking, auctions, prizes, a raffle and more – this is a lunch you should not miss! Both men and women are welcome to attend.
The luncheon will include a panel of speakers discussing the important current issue of "equality" in all of it's forms.
Tickets can be purchased for a table of 10, or individually (guests will then be placed on tables by the event organiser).
