Essendon VFL has named an extended squad to face Geelong on Sunday.

The Bombers will be looking to finish off the home-and-away season strong, with a win over the Cats at Simonds Stadium.

The Dons are sitting in sixth place on the ladder, with only one win separating them from a top four spot.

Nash Holmes is set to return, after missing the majority of the VFL Bombers season due to an ankle injury.
