Essendon VFL has named a host of seasoned AFL players, alongside some highly talented VFL listed players to face Footscray in the Elimination Final at Fortburn Stadium on Sunday.
Matthew Leuenberger and Heath Hocking have been named in the squad.
Hocking played in the senior’s game against Fremantle, where he booted two goals in the Dons win, helping secure a place in the finals.
Shaun McKernan will return to the field, after missing the VFL’s last two games of the home-and-away season.
VFL listed player, Alex Boyse, will also return after being rested last week. The 24 year old has shone in the forward line, booting the most goals for the Bombers this season.
