It has taken just 12 games for Michael Hartley to etch his name in the record books.
The key defender set a new Club record for one percenters during the Bombers match against St Kilda last Sunday.
Hartley registered 20 one-percenters passing the previous mark (17) set by Kyle Hardingham on two separate occasions.
The overall AFL record is 21, set by Hawthorn’s Josh Gibson in 2011.
A ‘one percenter’ is basically a knock-on, smother, spoil or shepherd.
Patrick Ambrose was the game's next best in the match between Essendon and St Kilda with seven.
Hartley spent much of the game opposed to Josh Bruce, who had kicked 15 goals in his three previous meetings against the Bombers.
But Hartley restricted the key forward to one goal, with his spoiling a key feature throughout the match.
