Essendon forward Stewart Crameri will takepart in Saturday’s Grand Final sprint as part of the pre-match entertainment atthe MCG.

Crameri, who has junior experience as a400 metre runner at state level, said he was looking forward to taking part inthe event.
“I’m really excited to be taking part inthe sprint this weekend,” Crameri said.
“I have always had a love for athleticsever since I was a kid.
“I did all the school athletics then I wenton to states in the 100metre and 400metres when I was eighteen.”
The Bombers forward kicked an amazing goalin round thirteen against Fremantle sprinting away from Luke McPharlin to runhalf the field before booting a goal.
“I didn’t think about it to much, it justsort of happened, I was running flat out and then at the end of the gameeveryone started talking about it,” Crameri said.
“I had a look at the vision and I didn’tbelieve I had actually done it.”
Crameri expects Adelaide midfielder PatrickDangerfield to win the event on Saturday.
The event will be conducted before theGrand Final with two heats at 12.20pm and the final at 1.10pm.
