Essendon VFLW has revealed its side for Saturday’s round six clash against Hawthorn at Windy Hill.

Reigning Brisbane Lions best and fairest Ally Anderson will play her fourth game in the red black, joining Cecilia McIntosh, Shae Audley, Hayley Trevean, Georgia Nanscawen and Maighan Fogas as Bombers boasting AFLW experience.

Lauren Ahrens, who was this week named a priority signing for Gold Coast's inaugural 2020 AFLW team, will start at half-back despite spending some minutes in the midfield against Carlton, while forwards Alex Quigley and Lori Stepnell will look to continue their impressive form.

Hayley Trevean, Ruby Svarc and Eloise Ashley-Cooper sit on the interchange, while Elizabeth Hosking could potentially make her debut against the Hawks after being included as an emergency.

Indigenous rookie Jessica Stassi has been named the 23rd player.

Following a 17-point win against Carlton, the Bombers will be looking to continue their winning streak on Saturday from 11:30am.

The team will be finalised ahead of the first bounce.
