Essendon has broken its all-time membership record, passing 80,000 members for the first time in its rich history.
The historic membership milestone tops the previous club record of 79,474 set in 2018 by over 500 members.
CEO Xavier Campbell thanked Essendon’s loyal member base for its ongoing support of the Mighty Bombers.
BECOME A MIGHTY BOMBER FOR JUST $25
“On behalf of the club, I wish to thank each and every one of our 80,011 members. To reach such a significant milestone is a testament to the incredible support our members continue to show,” Campbell said.
“To see the red and black faithful grow year on year with our membership figures is a phenomenal achievement.
“As a club, our focus remains on building an environment both on and off the field that can challenge the competition and set us up for success, so we urge our supporters who have yet to sign up to join us on our journey.”
