Inaugural esports coach Scott 'Westonway' Farmer has departed the Bombers after receiving an international coaching role with a European LEC organisation.
Farmer joined the Bombers at the start of the 2018 season, having earned the team seventh-, fifth- and first-placed finishes in the OPL.
Head of esports Nathan Mathews said the Bombers would farewell Farmer with mixed emotions.
"Scott has been given an incredible opportunity to continue his learning and growth as a coach in Europe. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the club completely supports Scott in his move," Mathews said.
"We would like to wish Scott the best of luck in his new role and thank him for his service to our organisation over the last 16 months."
The search for a replacement coach is now underway, with more details posted soon for any potential applicants.
