It was more of the same from Mitch Brown in his fourth season as a Bomber, who quietly went about his business to record almost identical numbers to those of 2018.
Featuring in 16 games - two more than last year - only a fractured wrist sustained on Anzac Day prevented the 29-year-old from eclipsing his personal best of 21 (2016), with his exceptional work rate helping him remain a mainstay in the Bombers' forward line.
Such was his elite running that Brown covered the most distance of any teammate in six games, proving to be a valuable link-up player between defence and forward.
His ability to burn off opponents allowed him to find space inside 50, paving the way for a career-high 21 goals.
Brown's season unfortunately ended on a sour note, with a low-grade calf strain cutting short his elimination final against the Eagles.

BEST PERFORMANCE
With Joe Daniher and Shaun McKernan missing, Mitch Brown had to shoulder the load in attack against Brisbane in round four.
And while Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti took the limelight for his career-best seven-goal haul, Brown proved the unsung hero.
Spending a match-high 98 per cent game time on the ground and covering the most territory (14.5km) of any player, Brown recorded three goals, 25 disposals, 11 marks, 10 score involvements and four inside 50s.
It was a toss-up between this performance and round 18 against the Crows (23 disposals, four goals) for his best of the season, but this gets the nod given the personnel on the sidelines.

MIGHTY MOMENT
In a tight contest, Brown helped bury the Crows with a two-goal final term.
The first was the go-ahead goal in the early stages, while the second typified what we love about his game.
With five minutes remaining and the ball in dispute on the wing, Brown's quick thinking led to a kick quick off the ground into the path of Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti.
Sensing the opportunity, Brown sprinted 40m to find space inside 50, diving to mark McDonald-Tipungwuti's pass in return.
He went back and coolly converted from a tricky angle, putting the Bombers 10 points ahead to break Adelaide's spirits once again.
2020 VISION
Brown is part of a small contingent currently uncontracted for next season.
Should he re-sign, he'll look to re-establish a regular spot in the 22 as he enters the twilight of his career.
His low-grade calf strain didn't require surgery, so he'll be expected to begin pre-season without any hiccups in November.
