Exciting Essendon forward Orazio Fantasia has been nominated for the Coates Hire Goal of the Year for his cracking snap goal against Sydney at the MCG on Saturday.

Fantasia showed great goal awareness after gathering the ball deep in the pocket early in the third term, quickly raking the ball across his body while under pressure to boot the stunning goal.
