Essendon claimed an 81 point win over the Northern Blues on Saturday at Windy Hill.

Jayden Laverde booted six goals for the Dons on Saturday.

Brent Stanton was impressive against the Blues. He finished with 36 disposals, 10 marks, five tackles and two goals. 

Jake Long performed well, finishing with 25 disposals and four marks.

Jayden Laverde collected 19 disposals, seven marks and three tackles in the Dons win. 

Kyle Langford kicked four goals and finished with 26 disposals. 

Ben Howlett was strong in the midfield, he laid six tackles and finished with 21 disposals. 

Matt Dea was great in defence, he took nine marks and finished with 20 disposals. The defender ran forward to kick a goal in the final term.
