Essendon is pleased to announce the appointment of Catriona Larritt to the club’s Board of Directors.

Larritt is a customer-centric leader, who brings more than 25 years of experience driving business and digital transformation across a range of high-profile industries.

Currently the Group Chief Customer & Digital Officer at Qantas, Larritt is responsible for leading the end-to-end customer experience, both digital and physical, as well as brand, marketing and technology across the Qantas Group.

Larritt's impressive career features leadership roles across a diverse range of sectors. Notably, since joining in 2015, she has held several executive roles at Qantas Group including as Jetstar’s Chief Customer Officer between 2015–'20, and as Executive Manager of Freight from 2020-'23.

Before joining the Qantas Group, Larritt led strategy and digital at Australia Post for five years and prior to that, she spent 13 years at Boston Consultancy Group, leading strategy, change and growth projects between 1996-2009. 

Larritt holds a Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) at University of Melbourne and has also completed the Australian Institute of Company (Board) Directors course. 

A passionate, lifelong Bombers member, Larritt is honoured and excited to be joining the Board of Directors.

“I have been a devoted supporter of Essendon for a long time and I am honoured to be joining the board to bridge my passion for this incredible club with my experience across a range of industries," Larritt said.

"My love for footy and commitment to serving the fans are deeply ingrained. In parallel, having served in many customer and technology focused roles over the years, it has given me invaluable insights into delivering exceptional customer experiences.

"I look forward to bringing this dual passion and expertise to the team."

Essendon President David Barham welcomed Larritt to the Essendon Board.

“We're thrilled to have Catriona join the Essendon Board. She brings a wealth of knowledge, including customer experience, strategy, and digital growth, all of which complement the current skills of our board," Barham said.

"She is a passionate Bombers supporter and has a strong understanding of our history, culture, and present-day challenges.” 

Larritt commences her role on the Board on Tuesday, April 8.
