Essendon’s Thursday night fixtures at Marvel Stadium begin this week with their round three match against Port Adelaide.

Thursday Flight Night offers fans a chance to enjoy the game with energetic vibes and a soundtrack to match.

From 5pm, club legends Mark Harvey and Dustin Fletcher will be at the Johnnie Walker Bar inside Stadium Square (Gate 3), pouring beers and meeting fans.

Whether you're coming from work, uni, or home, arriving early gives you time to grab a meal and take in the pre-game atmosphere.

TICKETING AND MEMBERSHIP INFO  

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and on gameday outsidegates one and three. Reserved seats remain available, and all General Admission areas are on level three, or level one Standing Room.  

Essendon members have two ways to access the game on Thursday.  

Physical membership cards have a barcode that will allow members to scan in at the gate. Members who are yet to receive their physical card or prefer the convenience of using a mobile device can simply log in to the Essendon Official App using their membership details to access the mobile membership.

All members without reserved seats can upgrade to a seat through Ticketmaster and use the ticket in your Ticketmaster account to get into the ground. Members can upgrade using this link.

If you’re not a member, it’s not too late to sign up for 2025. Simply signup/renew online and then login to the Essendon FC app to access your ticket. Further information on 2025 membership packages can be foundhere

MERCHANDISE  

Bombers fans can grab all the latest and greatest merchandise from theBomber Shop, located externally at gates one, two and three. If you’re already inside the ground, you can grab your merchandise internally on level one at gates five and seven, on level two at gate six and level three at gate six. Don’t forget to show your physical or mobile membership card to get 10% off at all EFC merchandise outlets.  

GETTING THERE  

Parking is available on Thursday night at Marvel Stadium with entry from 12pm. It is recommended to pre-book your parking via the Ticketmaster or Marvel Stadium website here to ensure you have a space. 

Alternatively, Marvel Stadium is easily accessible via public transport. 

Visit the PTV website and Big Build to plan your journey ahead of time.   

POTENTIAL DISRUPTIONS  

Train Disruptions:  

Buses are replacing trains between Heidelberg and Eltham on the Hurstbridge Line until the last service.  

Buses are replacing trains between Newport and Werribee stations on the Werribee Line from 8:30pm until the last service. 

Road Disruptions:  

The West Gate Freeway has some inbound lane and ramp closures, including Millers Road, Grieve Parade and Williamstown Road. Best to allow a bit of extra time if driving in.  

Flinders Street (eastbound) is closed between Elizabeth and Swanston streets – something to keep in mind for those heading through the city.  

The Elgar Rd entry ramp onto the Eastern Freeway (citybound) is closed each night until March 28 between 9pm and 6am.
