Essendon VFL has named its squad to take on Footscray in an unofficial practice match at Mission Whitten Oval on Saturday.
The Bombers will see a solid chunk of last season's playing group on the park for the hit-out, including familiar names Xavier O'Neill, Oskar Smartt, Matt Foley and Jared Eckersley.
New recruits such as Tyler Sellers and Dom Akuei will also line up, as well as key defender Will Hoare, looking to follow up on his terrific 2024 campaign at VFL level.
The Bombers' VFL matchup kicks off from 5pm AEDT on Saturday, February 15, with streaming available via the Club website and live updates to come through the Essendon VFL X account.
A small contingent of Essendon AFL-listed players will round out the full squad on gameday.
