Essendon Football Club has today farewelled AFLW forwards Jacqui Vogt and Kodi Jacques.

Both players were informed they would not be offered a contract for the 2025 AFLW season.

An inaugural Bomber, Vogt played 24 games for Essendon since joining from St Kilda.

Known for her strength, versatility, and leadership, Vogt was a valued on-field presence who could play in different positions across the ground.

Across her AFLW career, she played a total of 41 games and kicked 12 goals.

Jacques, who joined the Bombers in 2023, brought relentless energy and determination to every contest. s

In her two seasons at the club, she played 15 games, bringing her AFLW tally to 41 career games.

General Manager – AFLW Aysha Ward thanked both players for their contributions to the club.

“We sincerely thank Jacqui and Kodi for their care and commitment during their time at Essendon,” Ward said.

“These decisions are never easy and Jacqui and Kodi can be proud of leaving a lasting impact on our group.

“We wish them both the very best in their future endeavours.”
