COMMUNITY GAME

Essendon has a rich history of family and community and as it continues to grow, it acknowledges the importance of connecting with its community to bring new people along on the club journey.

This Friday, we are celebrating the community around our wonderful club, so stick around after the game for an extended kick-to-kick and a BBQ until 5pm - the main bar will also be open.

After 5pm, feel free to head into the social club for happy hour and a delicious dinner from the bistro.

TICKETING AND MEMBERSHIP INFO

AFLW members can scan into Windy Hill using their mobile membership, found within the Essendon app.

More information on how to use your AFLW membership can be found here.

Non-members can purchase their tickets online via Ticketmaster, or at the gates upon arrival. We strongly recommend fans purchase their tickets online before the game to ensure easy access into Windy Hill, as we expect long wait lines at the ticket window.

Need assistance? Our friendly membership team will be available from 12:30pm from the ticket box on the corner of Napier Street and Brewster Street.

PARTNERS AND ACTIVATIONS

There will be a little something for everyone inside the ground on Saturday, so we recommend getting to the game nice and early to make the most of everything on offer.

Make sure you swing by our activation zone inside the Raleigh Street gate to keep the whole family entertained pre-game.

You can test your skills in the Fujitsu Warm Up Zone and if the pre-game nerves are getting to you, be sure to head to the NEC Chill Hill.

You can then get your game-face on by visiting our friends at Toyota Forklifts for free facepainting!

There will be giveaways from partners Toyota Forklifts and Liberty Financial to make sure no one goes home empty handed!

Be sure to grab a free McCafe coffee voucher by visiting the Bomber Shop at either the Brewster or Raleigh Street gates, thanks to our friends at McDonald’s. Strictly limited vouchers are available, so make sure you’re there early so you don’t miss out.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat, make sure you check out the food trucks that will be stationed inside the two gates and on the hill.

If a sit-down meal is more your speed, make sure to head into the Windy Hill bistro for a great feed. If you’re over the age of 18 and in need of a refreshing beverage, head over to the bar at the Brewster Street gate for the new Carlton Draught with a splash of lemonade from our good friends at CUB.

Be sure to stick around post-game to have a kick on Windy Hill thanks to Maccas Kick to Kick once the second siren has sounded.

GETTING THERE AND ENTRY TO THE GROUND

There is limited street parking available around Windy Hill, so it is recommended that all patrons use public transport to arrive at the venue.

Windy Hill is only a short 500m walk from Essendon Station, which can be accessed via train, bus and tram. Make sure you plan your journey ahead of time to make sure you don’t miss the first bounce!
