Jye Caldwell has taken home the Liberty Player of the Month award for his performances from rounds 13-16 this season.

Enjoying a career-best campaign in his fourth year as a Bomber, Caldwell has featured in every game this season and averaged 26 disposals per game across the last four rounds, including a season-high 32 touches in last week's clash against Geelong.

Thriving off more on-ball minutes, the free thinking 23-year-old has provided a mix of genuine grunt and outside polish to the Bombers' midfield mix this year, holding his own against some of the biggest names in the game.

After an injury-interrupted opening season with the club, Caldwell's only missed four games since, reflective of his durability and dependability in Brad Scott's line-up, emerging as one of the more consistent performers in the regular starting 23.

Caldwell joins Nic Martin and Zach Merrett in the running for the Liberty Player of the Year Award which will be announced at season's end.
