Dons utility avoids serious injury.
Essendon utility Nik Cox has been cleared of any major damage to his hamstring following Saturday's Dreamtime at the 'G.
After being subbed out at quarter-time, Cox had scans yesterday on his hamstring, which pleasingly showed no strain. The 22-year-old will be monitored through the week, but the club expects his symptoms to resolve quite quickly.
Essendon will provide a further update in the club's injury report released tomorrow afternoon.
