Jye Caldwell will be a test for the Bombers’ clash with GWS this Saturday.
The midfielder was subbed out during the third quarter of last Saturday’s win over the Eagles as a precaution due to calf tightness but provided he gets through training with no issues, he will line up against his former team on the weekend.
Sam Draper could make his return to the line-up after missing the trip to Perth last weekend with knee soreness, set to train fully this week to prove his fitness for the matchup with the Giants.
In further positive news, Jye Menzie and Zach Reid are making ground in their respective recoveries from injury and are also in the frame to return to play this weekend, provided they get through training without issue.
Defender Jordan Ridley is another getting closer to taking the field, eyeing off a return in the next couple of weeks.
The Bombers take on GWS in the annual Challenge game at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, looking to tackle childhood cancer and support the families affected by it.
