Essendon has named its side to take on Adelaide for Friday night footy.
With forward Jye Menzie sidelined to a shoulder injury, the Bombers have called upon young midfielder Elijah Tsatas as their lone change.
Tsatas returns to the line-up after impressing on limited minutes in the VFL last week, snaring 14 disposals and four clearances in the first half prior to being rested as an emergency for the AFL fixture against the Bulldogs.
In the absence of Menzie, it'll be important for the Bombers' small forwards in Jade Gresham and Alwyn Davey Jnr to continue their elite pressure from last week's win over the Dogs.
Nate Caddy is again listed as an emergency, this time alongside fellow 2023 draftee Archie Roberts and 2022 father-son selection Jayden Davey.
With the Crows also fresh off a big win last week against the Blues, Friday night footy shapes as an exciting test for the Dons.
The Bombers take on the Crows from Adelaide Oval at 7:40pm AEST on Friday night.
