Kyle Reimers showed he has the skills to match his fancy footwear, edging out former Hawthorn sharpshooter Mark Williams in the elimination-style goal kicking competition to claim the honours in Essendon’s inaugural SuperBoot competition this morning.

Essendon forward coach Alan Richardson oversaw proceedings, designating the points from which the players had to test their accuracy, while Scott Camporeale undertook official umpiring duties.

46 lucky supporters were given the opportunity to stand the mark for their favourite Bombers and each scored themselves a free pair of adidas boots.

Reimers' team-mate in the event, 11-year-old Matt Evans, also took home a Samsung digital camera, a signed Yakult football, and a team-signed Essendon guernsey – all the equipment needed to become the ultimate SuperBoot.
