We chat with Georgia Clarke ahead of Essendon's inaugural AFLW final against Geelong at GMHBA.

Georgia Clarke's versatility in the back half made her a dependable asset for the Bombers in the 2023 season.

The 23-year-old slotted in nicely during her first year at the club, opening her account with 11 disposals and four marks in the round one win over the Hawks.

At 177cm, Clarke's ability to play on both tall and small opponents made her a strong defensive partner for both Brooke Brown and Ellyse Gamble at different stages of the season.

The former Cat was a solid contributor in the round six clash against her old side, taking one of the Dons' best marks of the season in defence.

Featuring in all 11 games last season, Clarke recorded a career-high 12 touches and season-high five tackles in the round nine victory against Carlton at Windy Hill.

Signing on until at least the end of 2025 off the back of a top-10 finish in the Best and Fairest, Clarke will be keen to continue her strong start to life as a Bomber.
