Essendon VFL has named its squad to take on the Northern Bullants in match simulation this Friday.
After returning through the VFL on managed minutes in last week's practice match against the Cats, ruck Sam Draper has again been named in the squad, with midfielder Ben Hobbs also set to get minutes under his belt after overcoming a shoulder injury from training.
2023 No.10 draft pick Nate Caddy will also don the sash for the first time in the matchup with the Bullants, free to play after managing soreness from a training knock over the past fortnight.
Essendon's VFL match simulation won't be streamed, however fans are encouraged to check the @EssendonVFL account on X/Twitter for updates throughout.
The Bombers and Bullants will face off at the NEC Hangar this Friday, beginning at 5pm AEDT.
