Essendon Football Club's Family Day is making a return in 2024!

Be there for a day of exciting activations, signing marquees with all your favourite players, food trucks, and a plethora of fun-filled kid’s activities which all kicks off from 10:30am at the NEC Hangar with FREE Entry.

Snap and Sign opportunities with players!

Partner Activations  

  • Get your photo taken at the Palo Alto Networks photobooth located outside the Bomber Shop.   
  • Consider yourself a gaming whiz? Test your AFL skills at the NEC Playstation gaming area. 
  • Test you football skills at the Fujitsu Warm Up Zone located on the Community Oval. 
  • Ready, Set, Go! Have a go at the Fujitsu Cash Grab -  snatch the Bomber dollars amount required and win a prize. Plus, treat yourself to some Fujitsu freebies!  
  • Check out Dutton Automotive’s premium cars on display, before you jump in the Mason car for a Red Dog Sing Along! 
  • Liberty Financial will be promoting their $120,000 eco-friendly Tiny Home by Hangan competition where you must correctly guess the Tiny Home’s number plate to win. Fans will get a chance to have their own little tour the Tiny Home and experience what it’ll like to be in their own. Attendees over 18 years old will have the opportunity to enter their guess on the day.
  • Visit the iconic McDonald’s Golden Arches and test your footy skills at the handball targets. There will also be opportunities to get a FREE* McCafe coffee voucher! *T&Cs apply.
  • Pick up your 2024 Liberty Financial signing cards and posters.
  • Correctly ‘Pin the Tradie Jocks on Drapes or Jye’ to win yourself a can of Tradie Deodorant!
  • Need a healthy snack? Coles will be handing out free fresh fruit outside the Bomber Shop
  • Visit the Toyota Forklifts tent for free face painting and Bomber themed lollies!
  • Get your face painted or make a badge, then head over to see the team at Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation on the Community oval
  • Scan the QR code while you wait in line for your favourite players signatures, and win – all thanks to Under Armour. 

 Community Activations 

  • Be there for Red Dog's Big Groom, where Mason Redman will be shaving his locks to raise money for the Club's charity partner Challenge. Click here to donate! 
  • AFL Victoria will be playing games on the Community Oval if you want to learn some new skills 
  • The Purple Bombers will be outside the Bomber Shop with colouring in activities and giveaways. 
  • Victoria Police will be giving away stickers and colouring in books - and if you are lucky, they might even let you sit in their car and put the siren on! 
  • Grab yourself a sausage sizzle from the Bomber Squad who will be on the BBQ. 

Membership and Merchandise 

  • Our member services team will be available for all queries and to assist in signing you up for the 2024 season. 
  • The Bomber shop will be open from 10am – 3pm for all the latest merchandise. There will also be a second outlet on the oval to buy from. Grab something from the 2024 range by Under Armour, New Era and more. Don't forget that members receive 10% off storewide! 

Parking  

There will be no on-site parking and limited street parking available around the facility with road closures in place.  

Limited paid parking will be available at the Mantra Tullamarine, Melrose Drive. 

There will be free shuttle buses running every half an hour from Windy Hill from 9.30am, located on Napier Street. Parking will be limited at Windy Hill so please use public transport where possible.
