Are you prepared to put your opinion on the line each week and tell fellow Essendon supporters how it really is? Do you always feel the urge to tell your fellow fans what went right and what went wrong, where the match was won and where the match was lost? Well this is the chance you have been waiting for! For the remainder of January and into early February, the Bomberland website will be running a competition to find a would-be-scribe for season 2002. We want to hear a voice from the outer. If you win, you will have your very own weekly column, complete with your headshot on the Bomberland website. Read on for more details of our FAN IN THE OUTER competition.

We are asking our prospective Bomberland reporters to write a preview for season 2002. It should be no longer than 500 words and we want you to tell us who the key players are and where the improvement will come from. What are the Bombers strengths and weaknesses and can they win the ultimate prize in 2002? The judges will then pour over the entries to find our winner and our FAN IN THE OUTER for season 2002. The winner will write a match report each week - it can be biased, humourous or serious. In fact it can be just about anything you like and it will be there for all Bomberland users to read.

In conjunction with this column, the Bomberland site will also be running a FANS DIARY in season 2002. Each week Essendon supporters can give a brief appraisal of the Bombers' latest performance. Where was the match won and lost, who played well and where do we need to get better? The FANS DAIRY can be accessed immediately after each game and three entries will be published on the site the following week.

But first things first. Let's start the hunt for our 2002 FAN IN THE OUTER. Simply click here or go via the icon on the front page to submit your 2002 preview.
