NEIL CLARKE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
The funeral for dual Essendon premiership player Neil ""Nobby"" Clarke will be held this Friday, April 4th at 10.45am at St. Therese's Church, corner of Lincoln Road and Florence Street, Essendon. After the service the cortege will leave the church and travel up Napier Street past Windy Hill and then proceed onto a private family cremation. Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy has left it up to the discretion of his players if they wish to attend.

""I won't say the whole list has to attend but a fair amount of players will go and a lot of people from our club. You don't have to be at the funeral to love and care for Neil Clarke and his family. I could be walking down the street thinking about him,"" Sheedy said.
Essendon has some exciting young talent coming through the ranks at Windy Hill both on the senior list and also the rookie list. This is the first year that the Bombers have had six rookies on its books and according to Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy it is an exciting time for the club. Sheedy is a strong advocate for the rookie list and its ability to give young players an opportunity to play AFL that can’t fit onto the senior list. Sheedy had the following comments about the six young players on the club's rookie list.
