Essendon is set to host its first Member Fest this Saturday, December 9 at the NEC Hangar.
A members-only event, fans will be treated to an open training session with an exclusive player panel and inner-sanctum access to follow throughout the morning.
Members can follow the following timeline below for Saturday's event.
Key timings
8am – Gates open, training begins
- From 8am, members will be able to enter the NEC Hangar to watch the AFL side’s main training session, with mascots Skeeta and Sky roaming around to say hello. QR codes will be available in the morning to scan and submit your questions for our player panel, which will also put you in the running to win the door prize!
10am – Training concludes
- After training, members will have the chance to chat and take photos with their favourite players. The Jack Jones Café will be open throughout the morning for your food and drink needs, while the loyal Bomber Squad will be running a sausage sizzle to tuck into.
10:30am – Player panel hosted by Sarah Jones
- Members will be treated to a live panel hosted by FOX Footy’s Sarah Jones inside the NEC Hangar, featuring a mix of players and coaches from our AFL and AFLW programs, including Zach Merrett, Sam Draper, Bonnie Toogood, Kyle Langford, and Ben McKay.
Member Fest will conclude at 11:45am.
Membership and Bomber Shop
Our friendly member services team will be on-site throughout the day to assist with any membership queries and sign on any friends and family.
The Bomber Shop will also be open for any last-minute presents and merch.
Parking
There will be no on-site parking available (excluding limited disability parking), with street parking limited.
Extra parking will be available at Mantra Melbourne Airport, located on Melrose Drive.
