Relax ... we aren't talking about a player! But what we can say is that Essendon assistant coach Mark Harvey will be unusually quiet in the coaching box this weekend. Harvey suffered a broken jaw during a training drill yesterday afternoon. In the middle of a training drill, Harvey got among the action and was on the end of an accidental elbow from Cory McGrath.

""He won't be getting my vote at selection,"" Harvey said with a painful smile on his face this afternoon. ""I've been playing football all these years and been around footy clubs and this is the first broken jaw I have ever had. Revenge will come and it will be short and sweet.""

Harvey did his best to hide the pain of the collision with McGrath. ""I never went down - I am very reluctant to show pain in front of the young blokes,"" Harvey said.

""Of course Bruce Reid (club doctor) charged over to see me and immediately mis-diagnosed it. He said there was nothing wrong with me. Apparently the fact my jaw was at right angles and my top teeth couldn't touch my bottom teeth was not unusual,"" Harvey said. ""The x-rays told the real story!""

It is believed Harvey's modelling agency is considering taking legal action with his broken jaw likely to restrict his ability to earn money on the catwalk.
