This Friday night's clash between Essendon and Sydney at the SCG will be shown live on Channel Seven. Program guides indicated that the Friday night match between Collingwood and Richmond would be shown in Melbourne on delay but Channel Seven confirmed yesterday that the Essendon v Sydney match would instead be telecast live commencing at 8.30pm. Given the results of last weekend, the Sydney match shapes as one of the games of the season - the top of the ladder Swans v the premiership favorites Essendon.
