After eventually running over the top of North Ballarat last week, Bendigo will be looking to keep their hot streak alive with a win over second place Casey this Saturday at Windy Hill.

Last week’s victory was their sixth consecutive win and eighth of the home and away season.

The victory making an incredible turnaround by Hayden Skipworth’s men considering they were on just two wins after Round 7.

Bendigo currently 5th on the VFL ladder would, with a win over Casey this weekend, be as high as second as well as declare themselves serious premiership contenders.

Veteran Mark Mcveigh, along with speedsters’ Jason Winderlich and Travis Colyer will add depth to the Bendigo midfield which has been in remarkable form of late.

Casey will travel to Napier Street having overcome top spot and reigning premiers Port Melbourne last week in a stellar display.

Brad Gotch’s men are playing with confidence, but Bendigo will not go about their business quietly.
