Following an incident in the final quarter of yesterday’s game against Collingwood, Sophie Alexander has been cleared of concussion and a neck injury.
Alexander was stretchered from the field following a tackle and was taken to hospital as a precaution following the game.
Head of Medical Services Megan Smith said Alexander is recovering well.
“Sophie was cleared of concussion at the ground but spent last night being assessed in hospital as a precaution due to neck soreness,” Smith said.
“We are relieved that Sophie has been cleared of any damage and returned home this morning in good spirits.
“Sophie will continue to be monitored closely, with ongoing assessment throughout the week determining her return training.”
