Michael Hurley has received recognition for his stellar efforts throughout 2015, named in the 40-man All Australian squad.
An integral part of the club's backline, Hurley has nullified some of the most dangerous forwards in the competition, including Jack Riewoldt who he kept goalless just two weeks ago.
Taken at pick five in the 2008 national draft, the 25 year old began his career at Essendon as a power forward.
However, his career really excelled after being moved to the backline in 2014.
This year Hurley has averaged 21 possessions and is ranked 3rd in the AFL for rebound 50s, with his booming kick proving to be a great asset to the team.
The final team will be announced on September 22.
The club would like to congratulate Hurley on his inaugural selection in the All-Australian squad.
