Essendon captain Jobe Watson is urging fans to show their support for the team on Sunday night against archrival Carlton at the MCG.

Watson has asked all red and black fans to get behind the team for their first home game at the G in 2014.

“We take on Carlton this week in a Sunday night game at the MCG and it is a great opportunity for us against a huge rival.”

“ I hope that the fans come out and support us on Sunday night, it is school holidays on Monday so hopefully the fans can come out and cheers us on.”

“It was a great atmosphere that the fans at Etihad produced last week and hopefully we can get the same this week.”

This match is classified as an ‘A-Game’ so members with general admission access will be able to scan into the ground and sit in one of the following bays:
