Essendon Football Club has confirmed a further list change with rookie forward Anthony Munkara not offered a playing contract for 2024.

Essendon's NGA product was selected in the 2022 NAB AFL Rookie Draft as a Category B Rookie and played 15 matches at VFL level in 2023.

General Manager of Performance Daniel McPherson thanked Munkara for his season with the Bombers.

“Anthony has learnt a lot during his time at Essendon and has shown good talent and capability at stages this year. We wish him the best with his future and his return to Tiwi Islands,” McPherson said.
