Jobe Watson is edging closer to the top of the Footy Tipping leaderboard after selecting six winners last week to bring his total to 41 after seven rounds of football. The skipper is now ranked 147 out of over 6000 tipsters.
This week Watson tipped the Bombers, Dockers, Bulldogs, Demons, Cats, Kangaroos, Hawks and Power.
Josh Griffiths is leading the 2010 Footy tipping competition with a running score of 45.
Last week 10 Bomber fans tipped eight winners, these were: Linda White, Dave Coughlin, Rod Kelly, Steve Bolton, Jim Farrugia, Tracey Farrugia, Norma Skowron, Bill Colotti, Fiona Bruzzi and Ray Mitchell.
The winner of the 2010 Essendon footy tipping competition will take home a 50-inch Samsung Plasma Screen TV with a Samsung Blu-ray Home Theatre package (a total value of $2600).
Any fan who tips more winners than the Bomber’s skipper at the end of the 2010 home and away season will win a $20 Bombershop e-voucher (redeemable when you spend a minimum of $50 in the online shop).
The adidas SuperBoot competition has a clear leader at the end of Round 7.
Craig Mason is at the top of the adidas SuperBoot leader board with a score of 42. Jack Morey and Todd Peters received the highest score last week, tipping West Coast’s Josh J. Kennedy and using their Coleman Cards for the season.
The winner of the 2010 adidas SuperBoot competition will win a Samsung Plasma worth $1600 and could also take home $25,000 cash if they score more than 147 goals for the season.
Dangerous Bomber forward Mark Williams has been named on an extended bench for Essendon's do-or-die clash with St Kilda on Sunday. He joins Leroy Jetta, Travis Colyer and David Myers who have also been brought into the 25-man squad
