Third-year midfielder Sam Durham has been awarded August's Liberty Player of the Month.
Spending time playing between the wing and half-forward, Durham has been one of the Bombers' most consistent performers in a disappointing month for the team.
The 22-year-old has continued to establish himself as an integral part in the Bombers' best 22, with August proving to be a career-best period.
Durham averaged 20 disposals and six marks in one of the hardest positions to play in throughout the past month.
Essendon's round 24 match against Collingwood saw Durham produce a career-high game in disposals (25) and marks (10).
Durham also consistently rated as one of Essendon's best pressure players and his two-way running drew high praise.
His nomination rounds out the final Liberty Player of the Month award nomination. The Liberty Player of the Year will be announced on Wednesday, September 6.
