We have a new season just around the corner and a new captain as well. So why not have a new website to go with it? The BomberLand team has been working hard behind-the-scenes over the past three months to provide you, the fans, with an even better on-line experience. The new state-of-the-art design will make the site more usable than ever before and give Bomber fans greater on-line access to everything red and black.

Among the key additions to the website is the return of BomberLand Footy Tipping for season 2006. The competition will be ramped up significantly this season with a $7499 LCD up for grabs as first prize. Make sure you register for the competition.

The new site also has the capacity to recognise and adjust to low and high resolution screens. The layout is cleaner and more streamlined to assist with ease of navigation including the use of a horizontal menu function and tabs across the top of the website. Text-based content is also in larger font and is easier to read.

BomberLand is also home to the latest website features including podcasting and a blog facility. The website’s integration with Bomber.tv is also far more seamless.

A whole website search function has also been added to the site, making information housed on the website even more accessible than before. The new site also has greater compliance with web standards enabling it to be accessed on a wider variety of platforms.

""The club works really hard to provide Essendon fans around Australia with the best website possible and we think supporters will really like the re-designed site,"" Communications Manager Simon Matthews said.

""We think the return of a football tipping competition with a great prize will be really popular among fans as will our re-vamped Bomber Shop.

""Bomber.tv is also growing in popularity and we have made some changes to the promotion of that product to give fans a better understanding of the content that is available.""
