Matthew Egan’s move to the senior coaching position for the remaining three matches will see a slight change to the set-up of the coaches’ box.
Egan had been in charge of the backline.
Those responsibilities will now fall to VFL co-coach Paul Corrigan.
“We wanted as little change as possible so Paul Corrigan who does the defence in the VFL will step up,” Egan said.
“He’s known the group a while and he’s been here for three years.
“He’s a really good coach, I’ve worked really close with him over the last few years so he’ll slip into that role really easily.”
With Hayden Skipworth also travelling with the senior side for the match against Gold Coast, Mark Corrigan will assume the coaching reins of the VFL this weekend.
“It’ll be their third coach for the year, so a little bit of changes but new voice is sometimes a good thing,” Egan said.
The VFL side takes on Footscray in Bendigo tomorrow night.
