Essendon has made one change to its starting lineup for round 16.

Saturday night's clash against the Power, the first between the two clubs at the MCG since 1998, sees ruckman Nick Bryan omitted from the side. Forward Jye Menzie, last week's substitute, has been named to retain his spot in the team.

Experienced midfielder Dylan Shiel has not been named to start, taking his place on the emergency list.
