DONS LOSE THIRD WIZARD CUP MATCH
The Bombers have lost their third consecutive Wizard Cup match, going down to Fremantle by 33 points at Subiacio tonight. Essendon trailed by only two points at three quarter time, but didn't score in the final quarter to finish the pre-season competition without a win. Like last year, the Bombers will now play practice matches in the following two weeks in an attempt to find some form before the home and away season begins.
