The Anzac game was undoubtedly the Bomber's biggest challenge late in a game so far this year. Unfortunately the side was outperformed by a clutch Collingwood unit, whom have been on the end of a come back many times. Despite this, the endeavour shown by the side in the first three quarters has given Bomber fans a taste of what is to come as the side grows in experience under senior coach Brad Scott.
Geelong flipped the script on Essendon, starting fast out the gates - their forward line proving incredibly challenging to quell. The lead proved to be insurmountable in the end, but despite this the side continued to show resolve and fight their way back into the match, cracking the 100-point threshold.
