Essendon's VFL team has named its side to face the Giants in Sunday's round one clash of the Smithy's VFL season at the club's home base, the NEC Hangar.
In positive news for the club, Jake Stringer will see his first competitive match minutes of 2023.
Nick Bryan, Tex Wanaganeen and Nick Hind are among a group of AFL listed players who will take to the field on Sunday.
