Essendon has named its VFL squad for the 2023 Smithy's VFL season.

Led by returning coach, Leigh Tudor, the squad encompasses 21 new players into the program, with the most notable signings being former AFL players Quinton Narkle, Tom Phillips, Brad Lynch and Tom Wallis.
