Performance Update – Round 10
Following our final round victory over Port Adelaide, head of strength and conditioning, James Foord, provides an update on our list’s health and highlights some individual performances.
Performance
Georgia Gee and Maddy Prespakis topped the total km with 7.66 and 7.59 km respectively.
Cat Phillips had a high work rate on the wing with 126 m/min and 31% of her 6.8 km were at high speed, Daria Bannister had 121 m/min at 28% of her 6.2 km high speed running and Jacqui Vogt had 120 m/min with 19% of her 6.7 km high speed running.
2022 Highlights
Steph Cain was ruthless having a total of 56 tackles.
Daria Bannister was our highest goal scorer with 8 goals for the season.
Maddy Prespakis topped the season with 237 disposals.
Steph Wales was a killer in the ruck with a total of 133 hit outs.
12 players played every game of the season.
Injury
Lily-Rose Williamson
Following the round 10 game, Lily-Rose Williamson travelled to hospital after a tackle in the final minutes. She’s been given the all clear and returned to Melbourne on Monday morning. Lily is progressing well, albeit a bit sore.
In positive news Georgia Nanscawen, Eloise Ashley-Cooper and Jorja Borg have all begun running in preparation for the 2023 pre season, after season ending injuries.
