Bendigo Bombers have gone down today in the traditional Anzac day match against the Pies at QEO by 43-points.
The final scores were Bendigo 6.10 (46) to Collingwood 13.11 (89).
Forwards Jay Neagle and Charles Slattery booted two goals each while John Williams retuened from a one-week suspension tobe best on ground. Blair Holmes was another standout, chasing and running hard in the backline.
“Being our traditional Anzac day match, we began the day with a solemn start; we paid respect to the fallen diggers as they played the last post,"" Coach Adrian Hickmott said.

The other goal-kickers were Rhys Magin and Tom German (1).

The Bendigo Bombers have a bye this coming weekend.
Their next game will be against Northern Ballarat at Central Park in Stawell on Sunday 10th May at 2pm.
