What are we wearing?
The Essendon Football Club is proud to unveil its inaugural AFLW Pride Guernsey, designed by VFLW players Mia-Rae Clifford and Kendra Heil. The jumper includes the handprints of members of the 2022 VFLW Premiership program, including players, coaches and staff that identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community. The overlapping handprints represent a sense of community and belonging, demonstrating that there is always support available.
