Essendon have named two debutants for their round 5 clash when they take on the Pies.

VFLW Premiership winner, Renee Tierney is set to debut in the red and black alongside Meg Ryan, who the club recruited on the eve of season seven. Amelia Radford also returns to the side.

Jacqui Vogt misses through suspension, Jordan Zanchetta has been omitted and Jess Wuetschner is a late out.

Essendon will be looking to bounce back after their narrow round four loss to Richmond where they went down by two points in the dying stages.

First bounce will be at 3:10pm (AEST) at the AIA Centre (Olympic Park Oval) and the weather will hit a top of 18 degrees.
