Essendon VFL will be looking to pick up where they left off when they take on Sandringham this Sunday.

The boys had an important win against the Tigers before last week's bye, running out 23-point winners in the Dreamtime clash.

Jayden Laverde and Alex Morgan will both make their return from injury this week, while Jake Long has overcome an MCL injury to be named in the squad.

Nash Holmes will also get another chance at VFL level after he impressed in his debut.

The game will kick off at 11:40am at Trevor Barker Stadium.

Fans who can't make the trip will be able to tune in and watch on Channel 7 this Sunday.
