Some of what the fans had to say:

""What a courageous player. Struggled early, but by the time the finals came around showed what a champion player he is. It was wonderful to see him get back into good form,"" Harry Goldsmith.

""Rama's season this year was below his expectations, but we all know about his recent health problems. If Adam can get back his full fitness, he will be a key part of our defence next year. Hopefully he can get back to the form of 200/2001"" Jeff Rice.

""A fantastic player with the most outstanding recovery and improvement! Adam is consistently skilful with faultless play and a reat contribution to each match. He is particularly useful in defence, but also has great run. With Adam's form improving towards the end on the season, 2005 will be the birth of a fresh, fit and star-player. Well done Adam!"" Minh Huynh

""Great finish to the end of the season when Adam was able to show why is so highly regarded at Essendon. A fit Adam rebounds extremely well and was a catalyst in a great deal of rebound goals. Used the corridor well,"" Scott Hose.

""Not Rama's best year but given what he's been through who could really blame him. A true inspiration to all those who follow football. The Geelong final was a reminder of just how good he can be and sign of what the opposition can expect when 2005 rolls around,"" Kate Nagl.
